Mike Oldfield's work is heavily influenced by classical structuring, as you can gather from his earlier work. Never one to be pigeon-holed into one genre or another, here are some of Mike's outstanding classical works. Aside from featuring some of the best tracks of "Music of the Spheres", an entirely classical album, this Discovery showcases the sublime "Mont St Michael", one of my personal favourites.
